The Schubert cycle is mr. Friis Johansson's most demanding current solo endeavour. The project is performing cycles of the eleven completed piano sonatas by Franz Schubert over four recitals.
The Schubert cycle was first performed in 2014 and it continues to bring Peter Friis Johansson across the globe.
Five Pieces for piano and orchestra is the brand new piano concerto by legendary Swedish composer phenomenon Sven-David Sandström. The Premiere will take place with Sweden's National Orchestra GSO on March 22, 2017.
The work was comissioned by Peter Friis Johansson with generous support from Anders Wall foundation.

The lecture recital Being E.T.A. Hoffmann was premiered at Folkoperan in Stockholm 2015 as a companion piece to their highly celebrated rendition of Les contes d'Hoffmann, a production where mr. Friis Johansson was musically responsable.
